Akman Construction is currently constructing a new funeral home addition connected to the existing Chesed Shel Emes Chapel. This funeral home opened its doors in 1933 and thanks to a new capital campaign, this building will support the Jewish community for generations to come.
Project attributes include a large lobby, top of the line mortuary equipment, offices, storage rooms, large meeting rooms and new kitchen. The exterior facade will be comprised of brick, tyndall stone & EIFS with punched fibreglass windows. New mechanical & electrical systems will be installed to include a new security system. A 4,000lb traction elevator will also be installed.
