Akman Construction renovated and expanded the Henderson Library for the City of Winnipeg, increasing its size to 18,000 square feet. The updated space features shelving, furniture, children’s programming rooms, computers, tutorial rooms, a staff lounge, and a new reception area.

This renovation project involved refurbishing the original 1960s terrazzo flooring. Additionally, diagonal lighting was incorporated to reduce costs and benefit library visitors by decreasing shadows.
