Akman Construction has reconstructed this landmark Winnipeg building while respecting the original architecture. It features terrazzo flooring throughout and a new flamed granite podium at the entrance. The project also included completely stripping the interiors, reglazing the structure, and installing new roofing, mechanical, and electrical systems.

The mechanical system was revised, which marginally affected the capital cost but provided a 25% more efficient system. An alternate glazing supplier was sourced, which saved $75,000 and 8 weeks in fabrication time.
