Thompson’s Personal Care Home responds to the region’s needs by providing seniors access to assisted living accommodations and health services. Completed in 2006, this 24,000 square-foot, 35-bed facility includes a full-service kitchen, dining room, laundry, lounges, offices, an administration area, and an Indigenous ceremonial space.

Wood piles and steel beams were utilized in lieu of belled caissons and concrete beams, resulting in savings of approximately $500,000.
