Akman is currently engaged in construction at Rainbow Stage, a 46,000-square-foot outdoor theatre located in Kildonan Park at 100 Rainbow Drive. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, new exterior paving and renovated entrances, upgrades to the box office and concourse areas, full renovation of public washrooms.

Accessibility improvements within the theatre include new handrails and enhanced stair lighting. The project also features upgrades to all major electrical and mechanical systems serving the building. This construction season will conclude with improvements to the exterior concrete walls, including the installation of a custom decorative picket system.

Construction activities will pause at the start of the performance season and resume in the fall continuing enhancements to this iconic Winnipeg venue.
