Akman Construction Ltd. expanded RRC Polytech’s existing Heavy Equipment Training Centre (HETC) building at the Notre Dame Campus to accommodate a state-of-the-art climatic dynamometer chamber (MotiveLab) for large vehicles such as buses and semi-trucks.

MotiveLab, unique within Western Canada, is a 7,000 square-foot research facility that supports Manitoba’s heavy vehicle sector by providing environmentally controlled vehicle testing for emissions compliance and various performance factors.
