The RRC Polytech Roblin Centre, which opened in 2002, combines new construction with renovated turn-of-the-century structures restored to their original glory. This 200,000 square foot facility, located in the heart of Winnipeg’s historic Exchange District provides a learning environment for business, communications, and applied and creative arts programs to 22,000 RRC Polytech students.

The structural steel that supported the historical façade for over two years during the initial phases of the project was reused in the third phase, resulting in significant capital savings and additional energy credits. The building has achieved a sustainability rating of C2000, making it the largest facility in Canada to receive this designation.
