Akman completed an interior retrofit for Southeast Child & Family Services (SECFS), whose new office is located on Mountain Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The renovations involved a complete reconstruction of the second-floor space. The new design incorporated offices, meeting rooms, storage areas, a server room, and a ceremonial room. The project was completed on budget, and the new offices were occupied in July 2011.

Extensive wood detailing was incorporated throughout the office to create a more natural environment for employees, clients and partners.
