Respecting the original architecture of the exterior façade, Akman Construction restored this Winnipeg landmark for the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB). The project included hazardous materials abatement, the removal and refurbishment of exterior granite, structural enhancements, improved envelope efficiency, new glazing, and the installation of refurbished granite panels throughout.

More than 3,000 granite panels were removed from the building, marked, catalogued, and stored for future restoration use project.
