The Birks Building has been a Winnipeg landmark for more than a century. It was constructed in the early 1900s, and housed Birks Jewellers from 1912 to 1987. The building has been home to the Manitoba Land Titles and Registry since the recent total reconstruction to the interior spaces.
The redesign features an atrium in the core of building that provides natural daylight and acts as a mechanical airshaft to improve air quality to comply with LEED silver status.
