NORTHERN SPIRIT MANOR
Thompson’s Personal Care Home responds to the needs of the region and provides elders with access to better accommodations and health services. Completed in 2006 the 24,000 sq. ft. 35 bed facility features a full-service kitchen, dining room, laundry, several lounges, offices, administration area, and Aboriginal ceremonial room.
Wood piles and steel beams were utilized in lieu of belled caissons and concrete beams. This resulted in savings of approximately $500,000.
