WORKER'S COMPENSATION BOARD

Akman Construction restored this Winnipeg landmark, respecting the original architecture of the exterior facade. The project included Hazmat abatement, removing & refurbishing exterior granite, enhancing the structure, improving envelope efficiency, new glazing, and installing the refurbished granite panels throughout.

More than 3000 granite panels are removed from the entire building; marked, catalogued, and stored for future use in the restoration project.
